Why I built CTH

I admire high-quality craftsmanship, whether it's in sports, entrepreneurship, programming, or any domain that is sufficiently complex for craftsmen to exist. I try to lead a life that reflects this admiration by putting in consistent hard efforts at the small set of things that I am interested in. I choose to measure my efforts based on time spent because it is the most controllable. I can't always fully control how sharp my mind is for a programming session nor how heavy my legs are for a running session. But I can control how many hours I want to put in for each session.
